Art Classes
 - Learn to Draw Skills Classes: Learn the basic skills of drawing. Composition, tone, proportion and perspective. Runs in May - see Workshop Calendar for dates.
 - Exploring the Creative Processes: Use a variety of medium to play and experiment in design. Explore colour, mark making, textures and collage. Runs in June - see Workshop Calendar for dates.

Cost $120 for 4 week course | Individual workshops $35. Payment is required in advance to secure a place.

Evening & Saturday Workshops
  - Necklace: learn the basics of finishing your first necklace
  - Earrings: traditional and contemporary. Learn different techniques to design 4 different styles of earrings
  - Chain or ribbon: experimental class using different media
  - Twisted Wire Bracelet: sculpt a stunning necklace or bracelet
  - Contemporary Knotting: using a wide range of threads, learn to make the adjustable slide knot
  - Learn the traditional art of knotting pearls
  - Design and Colour Theory: understand how to use a colour wheel, and use the elements of design in jewellery making

Cost $160 for 7 week course 
Payment in advance to secure a place. Cost includes use of tools and some findings. Choose your own beads – approx $10-$15 per class. To book ph 6284 2868.


Saturday’s Creative Retreats - Beading or Drawing
Withdraw from the bustle of every life to relax, learn new skills, retrieve your creativity, be nurtured with healthy food!

Beginners Introduction to Jewellery – necklace, 3 earrings styles & bracelet, learning all the basic techniques of crimping, finishing, turning.
Cost $130. Includes $20 of beads of your choice, lunch, wine, morning and afternoon tea. 

Your class booking is secured with payment. We accept payments over the phone using credit card. Three days notice is required for cancellation, refunds or exchanges. Note: Classes may be postponed unless there is a minimum number of 4 students. Max number of students is 10.


Groups, Parties & Children’s Birthdays 
Choose your project. Cost $20 per guest
Adult Parties celebrating birthdays, farewells, work place, well being, pre-wedding etc. on weekends or evenings. Lunch /Afternoon Teas are also available.
Bookings are essential, ph 6284 2868.  Min 8 / max 14 guests. Guests can purchase their own beads from $5.

CREATIVE RETREATS
Many people do feel hemmed in by a life that is highly structured with time constraints-- their creativity is stifled and has no support system within the demands of a busy life.

Creative Retreats 2011 gives the opportunity for the customer to withdraw from the bustle of everyday life for a day. They will be nurtured by healthy home cooked food and a glass of good local wine, they will learn new skills and will have the time to retrieve their creativity in a calm, peaceful atmosphere. In Jewellery making, the task of choosing a few beads from a room displaying thousands of beads, arranging the beads in a pleasing pattern, then learning the technical skills to hold it all together is a creative process which is very energizing. An added bonus is that it can be worn immediately.

Gift Certificates are available and the customer will not have to bring a thing with them. Everything is provided for the day. All workshops are conducted with the direction of Kate Shelton, Dip. Ed., B.A. (Vis Art).
