MAKE POVERTY HISTORY
The Zero Seven Make Poverty History Road Trip is coming to Queanbeyan!
Make Poverty History seeks to raise public and government support for the Millennium Development Goals, an eight-point plan to halve global poverty by 2015. These goals were agreed to by all 191 UN member states at the UN Millennium Summit in 2000 and represent an international framework for development.

On 1st July 2007, the Zero Seven Make Poverty Road Trip will head to Queanbeyan. Come down to the Riverside Plaza to join the fun!

Beader and earring display maker Bronwen Smith is one of the regional Youth Ambassadors, and she would love to see as many people show up for the Queanbeyan event!

The lucky newsletter voucher for this week goes to Maya Stefanou. Must be collected from the bead shop by next Thursday 5th July

Girls – I only found ‘Koko Black ’ in Civic yesterday
Fortunately it was closed – but the window display was scrumptious in itself

Because of the weather we saw two movies this week – ‘Dead Girl’ –only if you want to be turned off men, go and see this no joy movie ‘I Do’ - funny, quirky French.

Take care in the rain – don’t catch a chill and don’t have a spill

Cheerio

Kate
