BENEDICT HOUSE NEWSLETTER

Good Afternoon all,

It has been some time since our last newsletter – but time has got away on us for the past few weeks.
The roses have been in full bloom- but now died off with the hot winds. Roses everywhere are looking great so they must have liked the season.

We loved the fashion parade – it was a calmer event with numbered seating so it did not have the ‘scrambled’ feeling.

Artist’s markets were on in Queanbeyan yesterday – what a lovely venue at The Q – Beautiful light and air conditioning! The stalls were of very high quality and were very pleased with the crowd and atmosphere. We hope there will be more to come.

For your Diary
Sun 23 November

Passion in the Kitchen – afternoon of music, wine and food prepared by artist Trevor Dunbar, designer aprons paraded and judged in courtyard 3pm. $30 per person Prepaid bookings

Artists Apron’s are coming in We have extended the due date until next Friday. We will have a very casual showing in the courtyard next Sunday around 3pm. We will serve some finger food and wine and listen to some music – which is a problem for me at this minute. The courtyard has great acoustics and it is very pleasant there on a Sunday afternoon – are there any jazz or blues trios amongst your families and friends.

Classes
We only have two classes in December
One is ‘finishing’ techniques and the other is more for economical gifts – book marks, key rings, charms etc. Great for work presents and family gifts as they can all be made for $5-$10 each and can have a personal touch.

FREE
We have lots of self sown tomato plants in the garden See Kate

The lucky newsletter voucher for this week goes to April Downes. Must be collected from the bead shop by Thursday 27th November 2008.

Take care,

Kate
