Another lovely crisp morning followed by sunshine – the Japanese maple is almost sparkling If it is global warming- it is improving our winters Pity about the rain. Maybe new houses should be designed with courtyards not gardens?

The first of the overseas parcels arrived today and I am expecting new ones each day this week
I am very excited about the new pewter beads that came in yesterday – I had to make some up last night
They are bulky and bold, but very effective and combine well with the Kazurri’s and Greek ceramic.

RAPT in FELT
This is one of my very favourite events in the calendar. The very creative and friendly group of women from the ACT Felters gather together to exhibit their garments. I find wrapping oneself in warm felted wool is a very comforting for the winter – what’s more we are supporting crafts made within our own little community

This Sunday If you enjoy a day at races this country venue is cosy and comfortable
I have tickets to give away. Get dressed up and win a weekend away Susie, Erin and myself will be judging the fashions From 11am Queanbeyan Race Club
