Have been basking in the warmth of the autumn sun in the courtyard, watching the clothes dry. That lasted for five minutes only - that was the extent of my leisure time this week.The place is all a tiss, for Stefano is motoring leisurely from Mildura as I write. Well, at least I hope he is - one never knows what diversion Stefano could take on his way from Mildura. He could be chasing those little piglets and dealing with the old sow for all I know! I am almost on schedule for catching up on 12 months of housework in two days. Not quite there yet - a few crucial hours to go before he arrives. He does not like hotel/motel rooms, he likes to stay with the family - $200 for a rented room is well worth the money in some instances. My next challenge will be find a place in the fridge for 6 piglets... Will give you a debrief of events next newsletter.

WINTER SOIREE
We will be holding a Winter Soiree on 15th May at 3pm, show casing the exquisite beading of Lilian Toms and and winter hat collection from milliner Christine Waring. This will be an opportunity to see one off works and a special collection of winter scarves as well.

RE:ROOM OPENING
Our new craft room the 're:room' will officially be opening on 1st May at 3pm. Vintage and retro fabrics and collectibles, and retro inspired art. Revive // Restore // Revamp. We are expanding our workshops to include more sewing and craft using second hand fabrics for the home, children and one off pieces for ourselves. Sarah will be leading these workshops. Art Classes
Learn to Draw SKILLS Classes: learn the basic skills of drawing - composition, tone, proportion and perspective. Wednesday evenings 6.30-8.30pm, starting 4th May
Exploring the Creative Processes: use a variety of mediums to play and experiment in design. Explore colour, mark making, textures and collage. Runs in June.
Cost $120 for 4 week course, or individual workshops $35 each. Payment is required in advance to secure a place - bookings ph 6284 2868.

Sewing with Sara
A great way for mothers to enjoy a coffee, create and socialize - making things for the home, oneself, or the baby. Bring along patterns and fabrics, swap and share. Children are welcome (but must be supervised).
