BENEDICT HOUSE NEWSLETTER

Good Afternoon All,

Happy Father’s Day to all the father’s
Next year we will have a Father’s Day bar-b cue in the courtyard – but not doable this year

We are feeling spring is really in the air. We have pruned the roses, fertilized everything and will buy a few little annuals to put a bit of colour in the courtyard tomorrow

The café is now running more with a sense of rhythm – most days – and I can almost take a deep breath.

MOVIES
We saw ‘Welcome to the sticks” last night and we laughed away – even my old husband chuckled at this warm, down to earth French movie.
There is quite a bit of reading but the translations are also very funny.

We also laughed in “The Band” – very eccentric
The professor in “The Visitor” reminded me of my old husband – but he couldn’t see the similarities

Christophe’s Pastry class
We did enjoy having Christophe and Josephine here- he loves teaching and does a great job creating a stage for the food to be prepared. He is generous with his knowledge of food – How can you tell if an egg is fresh? The air bubble inside the shell will be very small?
We are having more after he returns from France so if you are interested look at the Calendar on Tuesday evenings
