Glad last week is over. We have farewelled Yuh Okano and will miss her.

The parade was a great success even though some thought the rowers from the AIS stole the show with their modeling. Others thought Irene stole the show with her ring collection and ripe old age of 83.

We were too busy to take photos ourselves but there are some in Canberra Times, Times 2 this morning.

We now have the beginnings of a 'Fairy Garden' in the courtyard garden to enchant the little ones when they come to visit what they think is a very boring place, as they are not allowed to touch anything - we could all do with a bit of enchantment
