Local produce is sold every Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 5pm

Benedict House has local produce available every weekend, sourced direct from the growers: vegetables from Marulan and Batlow, Araluen stone fruit, mushrooms from Yass, bread from Bungendore and fresh pasta from Queanbeyan.

There has been a lot of interest in the local produce as people are becoming more aware of the impacts of the transportation of our food. People appreciate knowing where their food comes from – and how many thousands of miles it has travelled in cold storage.

Food that has been locally grown and travelled less 'food miles' is not only is better for the environment but usually tastes better as well.
